Investment Platforms
Platforms I regularly use where I invest my money.
My mom works at BPI & she set up my first investment account after graduating from University. Currently, I own a Peso & USD account in UITF & Mutual Funds.
BPI
My mom encouraged me to signup here. I got exposed to trading in individual company stocks.
BPI Trade
I found out about this platform on YouTube. At the time, I wanted to explore & invest in US & foreign stocks. I really like that they have a low initial investment fee for non-US citizens. Currently, I own ETFs (VOO, QQQM, VXUS, etc) & so...
Gotrade
I recently found out about this platform & it reminds me of Gotrade. This is an all-in-one platform where you can buy Philippine stocks & get research insights.
DragonFi
One of my goals is to save and put money on Irish-domiciled ETFs. They have lesser witholding tax which is a gamechanger!
Interactive Brokers
Resources & Tools
These are the resources I use before actually buying stocks.
I randomly found this on Google & honestly thought it was just a platform to view charts, but I recently found out you can also view financial reports & analysis here.
TradingView
I wanted to research the stock I want to buy & found this on Google. I liked that this platform provides you with a comprehensive overview of stocks, analytics, news & insights. The financial data seems to be incomplete, so I still recommend ...
Simply Wall St.
My go-to website for BPI funds. Before actually buying, I research & get info on the minimum initial investment amount, the target fund, review the chart, & get financial reports.
BPI Investment Funds
I mostly use this to check the latest fund price & check what percentage I earn in 5 years.
BPI Investment Funds Monitor
I rarely open this since I don't own many individual stocks, but this is a great platform where you can check the financial reports of listed Philippine companies.
PSE EDGE Portal
If you already have an existing BPI Savings account, you can easily open a USD account online. You do have to be aware of the required initial deposit & minimum ADB. Personally, I opened a USD account to invest in foreign funds.
US Dollar Savings
BPI online has a feature where you can easily convert your Peso to Dollars & vice versa. I used this tool to convert my existing funds to USD. For the transaction to go through, your balance should have enough funds.
