Going to college is stressful and not knowing what exactly to bring is understandable. Having recently experienced dorm life n college just this past year I really got to know what’s most important.
Ideal for comfort. Those mattresses are straight bricks, the 2 inches and up are great and give a better sleep.

If you go to a college like mine, where some dorms don’t have air conditioning, these are so helpful. You place them in the windows and they cool it down.

You NEED shower shoes, those bathrooms are gross and can get even more gross. Stay clean and get shoes.
Shower Shoes
Idc boy or girl you should get a robe. It’s so convenient when getting situated after a shower when living with people and easier to carry your shower stuff.
Fluffy Robe
Shower caddy’s are also ideal. Most of the time you are sharing a bathroom with people so you can’t keep your stuff in there, or communal of course. Specifically this one because the plastic ones are more annoying and hold water on it which builds up...
Dorm Shower Caddy
Soooo good, made doing laundry so much easier rather than carrying a whole basket through the halls. Was good size where carried a lot of clothes but didn’t take up too much room also.
Wheeled Hampers
You are most likely gonna get sick. Bring medicine and keep a picture of your insurance if you have it.
Ibuprofen
Whatever phone you have, you need a long charger. The outlets be far away and some times there just aren’t a lot so this helps.

If you have the room get this, whether you put food or clothes, they keep everything organized. Doesn’t matter what brand just plastic shortage bins.
Plastic Dresser
This is another overlooked item, the dorm trashcans are so small you will be taking it out everyday, just get a bigger one and stay on top of it.
Trash Cans in Storage & Organization(1000+)
You need your student id a lot, so taking it out and putting it back is a constant occurrence. This just makes it so much more convenient.
Phone Card Holder
Gotta stay clean, the wipes just make it easier to stay fresh n clean.
Cleaning Wipes
Honestly used these everyday. Most of the time I was eating at my dorm and the only other utensils were at the dining hall. This made it so easy n nice to have right there, good for leftovers too.
200 Count Heavy Duty Disposable Forks
Doesn’t matter what kind but a desk top mirror is a must. They give no mirrors so you need it. Also should invest in a full length.
