Le Fournil De Sébastien
Watch the bakers make their daily bread in this quaint little bakery in Dappermarkt. Delicious sourdough bread and pastries - sweet rolls, raisin buns and lots more.

I first ate this bread in a restaurant - and asked for a second serve. Crunchy on the outside and soft an zingy on the inside. They now also make a range of other pastries, including my fave canelle (which I haven't tried yet).
Fort Negen
The original and best (in my opinion) cinnamon or cardamon bun - pairs well with their creamy flat white - the perfect start to any morning.
Scandinavian Embassy
Amazing sourdough bread - light and fluffy inside with a delicious sour taste. They also make a range of pastry items, small cakes, focaccia and other tempting treats. Located un the Albert Cuyp market.
Rise Bakery
French sourdough boulangerie. Crusty bread, a variety of tasty french pastry items - you could be in Paris.

Japanese ‘sando’ sandwiches and loaded fries. At the Van Woustraat end of Albert Cuyp, tucked behind the stalls you will find the shop. Try the traditional japanese egg sandwich, tonkatsu or wyagu katsu. Grab a sando and enjoy in the Sarphatipark.
Ranchi Amsterdam
Grab your gyros from the snack bar - just like in Greece. These massive gyros stuffed with tzatziki and chips are not the healthy thing you will eat, but boy will fill a spot - you will be lucky to finish it they are so big.
