Real talk — I went into Old Navy excited and walked out... mostly disappointed 😂 But I still documented everything I tried on. Here's what I grabbed, what I loved, and what didn’t work for my body. I included notes like sizing, what I kept or return...
I loved how this looked on the hanger, but it was a miss for me. I’m part of the itty bitty titty committee and couldn’t fill it out. If you’ve got a fuller chest, it might totally work for you!
Square-Neck Denim Cropped Top | Old Navy
This was one of the few pieces I actually kept — super flattering, not see-through, and comfy! I’m wearing an XS and it fit perfectly. Loved it with denim!
High-Waisted Lace Midi Skirt | Old Navy
This was the one I went in specifically to try… and it was a miss 😩 Even XS felt huge. The oversized fit just didn’t work for me (I’m 5'5" and wear XS/S), but could be great if you’re midsize or want a looser look.
Tiered Mini Swing Dress | Old Navy
I was obsessed with the color and the shape was promising, but my chest didn’t fill it out enough to buy. Would look so good on someone with a bit more up top!
Fit & Flare Crepe Lace-Trim Mini Dress | Old Navy
The reddish color was chef’s kiss but this thing was HUGE on me 😅 Even in XS, it looked like a sack. Probably better on a midsize or bustier frame, in my opinion.
Satin Ruffle Mini Dress | Old Navy
Another cute concept that didn’t translate on my body. The XS looked like I was playing dress up. Might work better if you’ve got curves or a fuller chest.
Satin Ruffle Tie-Front Top | Old Navy
This was a surprise win! Found it on clearance, loved the fit, and it’s so comfy. Definitely recommend — it’s slightly A-line and easy to dress up or down.
High-Waisted Linen-Blend Mini Skirt | Old Navy
Found this in-store on clearance and honestly loved it, so obviously it was a keep. Fits great (I’m in an XS), soft fabric, and it’ll be perfect with a denim jacket for fall.
Short-Sleeve Mini Swing Dress | Old Navy
I love an oversized top, and this one nailed it. Slightly cropped so even sizing up didn’t make me look swallowed. Medium probably would've been ideal, but large worked to get the color I wanted! So obsessed that she came home with me!
SoComfy Oversized Button-Front Sweatshirt | Old Navy
This looks really close to the jeans I tried in a 2 that were too snug. The cut is cute though — might work better if you’re not between sizes like me 😅
High-Waisted Wow Loose Jeans | Old Navy
Not sure if this was the exact pair, but it’s got the same wash and feel. I couldn’t get the sizing quite right in-store but this style has potential!
Extra High-Waisted Wide-Leg Jeans | Old Navy
This pair is super similar to what I tried on in-store — I grabbed a 4 and it was way too big in the waist for me. Linking it in case the fit works better for you!
High-Waisted Baggy Wide-Leg Jeans | Old Navy
Tried the medium in this super soft sweatshirt (loved the blue!), but bought the large in green for the color and I love the slouchy-ness. So comfy—perfect for leggings or denim.
SoComfy Oversized Button-Front Sweatshirt | Old Navy
Obsessed with this brown ruched top! I bought it in a size small—it fits like a dream and goes with everything from jeans to skirts. Definitely a staple!
Ruffle-Trim Ribbed Top | Old Navy
This dress is almost perfect. Loved the square neckline and puff sleeves, but the chest area was too big and kept slipping. If you’ve got a smaller bust, this one might not be the best fit—but it’s gorgeous on the hanger!
Puff-Sleeve Linen-Blend Mini Dress | Old Navy
Such a pretty floral pattern and comfy fabric, but it was way too oversized on me. It might work better if you like super loose fits or want something ultra breezy—but it swallowed me up a bit.
