If you haven't heard of DeCathlon, let me put you on! They have so many great outdoors and active goods that are super affordable (compared to many US-sports stores). The US online store doesn't have things like yoga mats and massage balls – which I own from them as well. But for jackets and backpacks they have a lot and they're been so useful on my travels over the years. 100% recommend getting some gear from them if you haven't tried yet. There are also stores in many countries like Taiwan, Colombia, and more so if you are traveling you should visit them in person!
