Klyde Warren Park
This is the place to go if you need a long walk, a run, or just want to sit by the water and chill. It’s a huge lake with trails all the way around and some gorgeous sunset spots. I like packing snacks and hanging out on the dock — super peaceful.
White Rock Lake Park
Feels like you left Dallas without actually leaving. There are miles of hiking trails with trees, wildflowers, and a little bit of uphill to get your heart rate up. Perfect if you’re craving nature and don’t want to hear cars for a while.
Cedar Ridge Preserve
This one’s small but so pretty. It’s all shady paths, green lawns, and the creek running through. I love coming here with a coffee and just walking around — it’s quiet, calm, and right near some of the cutest neighborhoods.
Turtle Creek Conservancy
Big, classic Dallas park — think picnic tables, trails, sports fields, and plenty of space to spread out. It’s not as busy as the others, so it’s a great choice if you just want to toss a frisbee or go for a walk without big crowds.

This one’s super family-friendly. There’s a splash pad the kids will love in the summer, pickleball courts if you’re into that, and a nice open field for playing around. It’s the perfect ‘let’s burn some energy’ stop if you’ve got kids in tow.
