Phase 1: Barrier Repair
I use these products in the order I have them listed. These are all sensitive skin friendly and acne safe.
Sensitive-friendly and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and clean.
Don’t let overconsumerism fool you into getting the disposable face cloths! These are just as effective and much more affordable.
8pk Antimicrobial Washcloth Set
I will never stop using this. It’s so gently on the skin but leaves you feeling and looking super hydrated.
Rhode Glazing Milk
Glass skin in bottle!!! It strengthens the skin barrier with lipids and ceramides, delivers deep hydration, and soothes the skin (redness and irritation).
Target - BYOMA Phyto Mucin Seruml
The only moisturizer that doesn’t break me out or feel too thick/greasy. The perfect AM and PM moisturizer with ceramides and niacinamides (aka skin barrier holy grails)
Target - La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer
I don’t know how I’ve never heard about this sooner. Literally the best products I’ve ever put on my face!! Helps irritated and dry areas OVERNIGHT.
Target - Avene Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Skin Barrier Face Cream
Phase 2: Acne Treatment
Once your skin feels less reactive (less tightness, stinging, flaking…), dive into these products.
The best cleanser for acne! Doesn’t dry my skin out and works hard to clear up/prevent acne.
Target - CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Face Cleanser
If you aren’t using azelaic acid in your skincare routine…what are you doing?!
