We’ve all been there. Sick in bed. Letting our kids watch TV because we are just so out of it that it’s the best option. Honestly I don’t mind my son watching a bit of TV because it’s great at teaching him the dinosaur names I don’t know. I do hate the attitude that too much screen time causes. I try to keep a rotation of toys that I know are going to keep him entertained and keep us away from screens. Even I enjoy a few!

I honestly never started wearing everyday makeup until my later 20s. I love doing my makeup now. I can put this on in a few minutes and it makes me feel so good. I even had a kid tell me that I “looked like you are glowing up” after seeing me with this on compared to my natural face 😅 some of it is expensive but it’s worth it honestly.

There is a literacy crisis right now. I want my son to enjoy books and these really spark an interest with him and help us learn! I read to him every night and always look for the next colorful story and eye catching art. I love a good book and I’m glad my son is enjoying this as well.

Avid reader that doesn’t have one set favorite genre. A good book is a GOOD book no matter what the genre is. I love escaping to a new world, working on solving a mystery or learning to love in a different way. Read some of these books and appreciate the written word.

I didn’t know that coloring was going to be a hobby for me but it has been the best decision I have made! I look forward to taking a few minutes at the end of my night to color. I love exploring new colors and markers(ask my husband and they all look the same), finding new coloring books and learning new techniques. I like watching the picture finally come together and I am always so proud after every one I color. I hope you love these recs as much as I do✨
