One of my favorite hikes to do! Can be done spring, summer or fall. Great for beginners wanting a spectacular view to have a lunch at!
Castle Mountain Lookout
My first ‘hard’ hike! Literally breath taking views the whole way up! You can take the gondola down for free too if you get wobbly legs (or a blizzard comes like it did on us!). It zigzags the whole way up making the hike a bit easier to climb

If the top parking lot is open I recommend to park there. From there it’s a decent hike with a pretty view! Enjoy your lunch and take in the breath taking views around you.

Looking for a nice walk around Banff? This is a great option! A little out of the way, but the view is always worth it.
