Retinols From Beginners to Advance
I know looking for retinols can be stressful. So I made a guide from beginner to advanced to help you and for you not to go through the ugly phases.
But first let me give you some tips:
1. Start slow!!!!
Apply one and wait and see for one or two days if you have any irritation. If there’s no signs of irritation apply without a day or two.
2. Less is more
Apply only in the out of corners of your eyes and mouth to start. Again if there’s no signs of irritation, cover a bigger area the next time.
3. Apply only at night
Retinols are very sensitive to UV rays and can cause skin damage if use AM
4. If you do see signs of irritation STOP
Go for a few days without applying retinol and use Niacin-amide, peptides, ceramides, or oatmeal ingredients to soothe the skin.
5. Be patient
This is a long run and you just have to trust the process.
