Incredibly unique story and so well written. Sad and dystopian yet still so somehow hopeful, beautiful and inspiring. One of my favorite reads of the past few months.
I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman, Paperback
A retelling of a Greek classic but completely different then anything I’ve read before. An emotional and beautiful gay love story.
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
This was strange but that’s why I liked it. The story revolves around trauma, mental health, sex but has this quirky humor to it. Overall fun and interesting read
Big Swiss by Jen Beagin
RF Kuang is such an incredible author. The characters in this book are so interesting and complex and I love an unlikable main character.
Yellowface by R.F. Kuang
A slow decent into madness and as you read you feel this building sense of dread and uncertainty. A slow beautifully written story that address love and loss. One of my favorites.
Our Wives Under the Sea: A Novel by Julia Armfield, Paperback
