Eczema prone skin
My skin is very dry and prone to breakouts of eczema. These are some of the products that are currently working for me.
Only thing that helps my keratosis pilaris on my arms
Naturium The Brightener Vitamin C Brightening Body Wash - 16.9 fl oz
Love this moisturizer. Again Drunk elephant is a bit expensive but I do like their products. This moisturizer is hydrating and contains peptides. I usually use it at bedtime.
My secret weapon for almost everything. I put just a drop in my facial moisturizer and will dab a little on my under eyes to hydrate and boost collagen. Helps to grow eyelashes. I will also warm up and rub some along my cheeks/sinuses and nostrils wh...
Castor Oil
Love this mask for when my skin is feeling dull and dry. It helps brighten, hydrate and give me a bit more life especially after loads of traveling. Would say it’s more for dry probe skin then acne prone
Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Night Cream + Mask with Vitamin C
Ceramides are key. I worked in dermatology for 10 years and Cerave was always the most recommended. A thick layer IMMEDIATELY after showering (I use coconut oil first)
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream for Dry Skin
I apply a layer of coconut oil to wet skin before moisturizing and it has been a game changer. My skin is baby soft and eczema free
Coconut oil
Acne/follicultis
I only get mild acne so I use over the counter products only. Since my skin tends to be dry I try to avoid anything too irritating or over exfoliating
I use benzoyl peroxide wash for body acne/folliculitis. Works great for back and inner thighs. Make sure to rinse well. I will use it once a week on my face too
PanOxyl - 11 Products
Adapalene is great OTC for cell turnover, acne control and anti-aging. I use it only twice a week since my skin is sensitive and eczema prone.
Differin Acne Retinoid Face and Body Treatment Gel Adapalene 0.1% - 15g
Love drunk elephant products, although a bit expensive. This vitamin c serum is nice and helps plump up my skin in the morning.
Drunk Elephant C-Firma Fresh Vitamin-C Day Serum
I use this for my occasional pimples/cysts. Usually around my period. I will sometimes get a bit of redness across my nose and cheeks and this will help calm that down too. I use it very sparingly since it can be drying with my other products.
Skinfix Acne+ 2% BHA and Azelaic Acid Acne Spot Treatment
My favorite face wash since it lathers and washes well but isn’t too drying.
CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser for Oily Skin
Sunscreens
With traveling I get A LOT of sun exposure and having worked in dermatology previously I know skin cancer is no joke. The sun in Australia is very intense and I try to apply sunscreen regularly. These are a couple sunscreens I like from the states bu...
Great for reapplying sunscreen. Helps with oil control too
(Re)setting 100% Mineral Powder Sunscreen SPF 35 PA+++ - Supergoop!
Love this sunscreen. Extremely lightweight. Not pastey like a typical sunscreen. Also had the added benefit of vitamin C so you don’t need a separate product.
