Tokyo is a beautiful and vibrant city full of culture and history. If you're looking to add an amazing place to explore in 2025, I strongly suggest visiting Tokyo. 5-6 days allows you to scratch the surface. I'll be back!

This hotel opened in Dec 2024 - so it's relatively new. You can't beat the location! Located in the upscale neighborhood of Ginza. Everything is easily accessible including trains (which is the easiest way to get around). Onsite amenities include a g...
YOTEL Tokyo Ginza | Tokyo Hotel | Central Location
There's lots of these locations around but the one located in Shibuya is wild! There's lots of Japanese makeup finds right next to socks and clothes and 18+ content. It's mind blowing to see how much inventory located in one store. Some locations are...

The busiest intersection is such a cool spot for pictures! I loved seeing this at night.
Shibuya Crossing
This is a hidden gem. Aside from the mall with highend shops, I strongly suggest you take the elevator to the roof top and stroll around in the gardens. They have cherry blossoms out right now!
Welcome to GINZA SIX
The busiest train station in the world! 3.5 million riders pass through this station on a daily basis! Fun fact: There's 200+ entry ways that you can access this station. You'll need GPS to navigate! But inside there's ton's of eateries and shopping....
Shinjuku Station
On the weekend they close this main street down and turn it into a pedestrian paradise. They pull out chairs and oversized umbrellas. Go grab a coffee and snacks! It's a great place to soak up some sunshine while people watching!
Ginza - Tokyo Travel - japan-guide.com
This is a must visit! It's exactly what it sounds. It's a spa dedicated to using Ya-Man (a Japanese at home beauty devices) technology. A 20 minute face routine does wonders! The results are immediate.
YA-MAN | FACE LIFT GYM
The Imperial Palace is a must see! The grounds are meticulous and not to mention it brings you back to ancient times.
Imperial Palace
This brunch spot is a must visit for foodies. I ordered the avocado toast. I do not think I ever had an avocado toast like that. The sour dough is made in house and it's topped with the best looking avocado's I've ever seen. Their ricotta pancakes ar...

Take the opportunity to see the entire city from up top. Total chef's kiss! Head up to the top of the tower and get an even better view point.

This is such an iconic tour spot for anyone visiting the area. A day trip is possible but I strongly suggest 2-3 days. There's lots of hiking and outdoor pursuits around the lake. Hike up to the pagoda and get an even better vantage point. You can ta...
Mount Fuji
This is such a beautiful park. Perfect for an afternoon stroll. Stop at the teahouse for a matcha and light cookie snacks.
Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden
Just a quick train ride from Ginza, this is a must visit. Just a quick warning - come hungry! There's so many food stalls to visit. It feels a bit old world with the modern Tokyo as the backdrop.
Asakusa Isakaya
This place is such an eclectic crowd of tourists, locals, and business professionals. Add this local stop to your visit if you're in the mood for beer and pub grub (but an elevated version of pub grub). Personally, the fish and chips were my favorite...
Lion Beer Hall - Ginza
Hands down the best lemon pie I've ever had in my life! If you're into sweets - add this to your stop! And do yourself a favor, get the larger piece. I got the smaller slice and it was instant regret.
Lemon Pie - Asakusa
If you're a Godzilla fan - then make sure you add this to your list of things to see!
Hotel Gracery Shinjuku
The back alley's are filled with 4-8 person bars. They're so tiny and compact. Stop by for a pint and some teriyaki meat skewers. This place was paced until early morning.
Omoide Yokocho
Located nearly in every block, this is Japan's version of North America's 7 eleven but wayyyyy better! Stock up on snacks for the hotel room at the local Family Mart.
Family Mart
This park is filled with beautiful gardens and a tea house right on the small lake. Take in the beautiful scenery while sipping on your morning Matcha.
