Where to Stay

Located right in the town of Gravenhurst, Taboo is one of the “newer” resorts that got updated in 2022. I haven't been there since it first open. The resort is located lake side with lots of amenities.

Personally, I prefer to book an Air BnB cottage on the lake. Rates vary pending on property location (direct lake access, lake adjacent), number of bedrooms etc. Book early for the best property optioins. Muskoka's always books up!

What's brewing?

And no, I don't mean coffee. This region is home to plenty of local micro breweries. These are my top favorite!

Canvas is a pretty sweet spot in Huntsville to sample their brews. It also makes a pretty backdrop to any event. This spot is very lively during the summer months with lots of locals, tourists, and thirsty campers.

Where to golf?

It's not all about water activities and hiking. This region is peppered with some of the best golfing in Ontario.
