If you're ever in Amsterdam and you're looking for a unique spot to stay, this might be it. But honestly, I'm terrified of heights. Apparently when the wind blows, the crane spins. Which means, you could be sleeping and spinning at the same time.
Faralda Crane Hotel
I read this site in great detail. The views look amazing but you're going to have to climb up the mountainside before you can reach these accommodations. And there are clear instructions on how to operate this unit. Please book and stay with care!

Welcome to the world's first eco friendly floating hotel located in the south of France. Those sea views look pretty amazing.
Anthénea - France
I love history so naturally I'd have to include a giant castle on my list of unique places to visit and stay at. Live like a king and queen (while you're visiting). Learn to ride a horse or try you hand at archery. It looks like an adventure!
Ashford Castle - Ireland
Norway is on my list of countries to visit in 2026. I came across this lighthouse hotel that provides you 360 views. Don't let the outside elements hinder your fun. You can always warm up inside with the heated floors and the old fireplace.
