Has plenty of parking, bathrooms, picnic benches, soccer and baseball fields, dog park, disc golf, toddler and big kid park, and various pathed and dirt/gravel trails!
Hockinson Meadows Community Park
One of my fav out and back trails! Has a bathroom on each end of this 6.9 hike, a bunch of benches, and a park midway! Pretty views of the lake 💚
Heritage Trail
The perfect pathed trail for kids or bikes! This 13 mile path stretches across Vancouver, making it a good choice no matter which side of town you’re on!
Burnt Bridge Creek Greenway Trail
Scenic hike overlooking the gorge that is only 30 minutes from Vancouver! Bathrooms at the parking lot!
Cape Horn Loop Trail, Washington
Cute trail that goes around the lake! Bathrooms and plenty of parking! There is a fee to enter. You can also enjoy swimming, fishing, and camping!
Battle Ground Lake State Park
Family friendly walk with bathrooms, a park, benches, swimming and fishing!
Frenchman's Bar — Washington Trails Association
Multiple different loops, you can make this hike as long or as short that you want! There is also a horse trail!
Whipple Creek Regional Park
Wonderful loop hike that takes you behind a waterfall on the gorge! Only 45 minutes from Vancouver WA

This waterfall is one of my favorites near Vancouver WA and is definitely a must see! 2 mile out and back trail only 40 minutes from town

45 minutes from Vancouver WA this out and back trail is considered hard and not for young kids but definitely worth the check out! There is a beautiful waterfall!
