I probably go out to lunch or dinner at leaset once a week with my husband and also once with friends. I love trying restaurants for not only the food but the drinks! I live on the south shore of Massachusetts, but also spend time on cape cod.
This is one of our new faves. Because it is fairly new! The food is outstanding, from appitizers to entrees and desserts. They have many interesting drink options. I think I saw 5 different types of bitters and smelled them smoking something while I was being seated. They have a bar upstairs and down and you can actually make a reservation FOR THE BAR. The place is very cool looking, dark and classy. They have a room upstairs with animal head sculptures that I would like to sit in next time. This place is expensive but for a special evening I highly recommend. And for us it is a treat not to have to drive into Boston for this level of quality and service.
Masons Steakhouse
This place has so many great things about it. The food in the tavern is spectacular and many come just for the shrimp cocktail!! The crossing 9's in an outdoor restaurant looking not only over the 9th hole of a state of the art golf course, but also has an amazing view of the Boston skyline. You can also watch or participate in the driving range right next to the bar.

This italian restaurant is in Rockland very conveniently right off Rt 3. It has a large bar in the front room and then a smaller bar in the back. There are many smaller rooms in this restaurant which is nice. They have a great menu with something for everyone. Chicken Parm is only available when it is on special so give a call if that is your go to !
Lucca South Shore
Beautiful setting. This restaurant sits on the 9th (last) hole of the Weathervane golf course. It is fairly new. Great food and specials as well as tasty coktails. You can sit inside or out and they also have a small function room that I have attended great functions in. In the winter they put some heated igloos outside and that is super fun!

This place never misses. They have tasty cocktails and a great pour. Everything I have eaten there has been great and the portions are large. Great steak tips and caprese sandwich. Always fun new martinis to try. The dining room is a bit cramped and loud. I prefer the bar area.
