Folding five shirts over one hanger sounded gimmicky until I tried it. Now my entire work wardrobe fits in one section of the rod instead of hogging the whole thing.

Regular plastic hangers are absurdly thick. Switching to slim velvet ones freed up inches of rod space I didn't know I was wasting. Shirts stopped sliding off too, which was a bonus I didn't expect.

One rod in a closet is a design crime. Adding a second hanging level underneath changed everything, especially for shorter items like shirts and folded pants.

The shelf above my closet rod was a black hole where folded clothes went to become wrinkled messes. Dividers turned that dead space into actual usable storage.

Not everything belongs on a hanger. Jackets, bags, hats, and tomorrow's outfit needed a spot that wasn't the back of a chair. Hooks on the closet door solved that immediately.
