This is a list of tools that I have found to be extremely helpful for those with learning difficulties such as Dyslexia. They provide access and help but are not a replacement for learning to read through evidence based teaching and intervention.
This tool is perfect for those with dyslexia. Especially good for exam or test reading - could replace an exam in person reader! So many great features. You can see my video showing it in action via my Instagram page @kidequipnz

The free games on this platform are great for giving my students a break whilst still learning. Choose from different questions or make you own - easy to customise. I use this for reading and spelling review.

Help your child to access higher-level vocabulary that they may not have encountered if they struggle to read. This fun, interactive website is so easy to use and engaging. Your child can watch an animated story using vocabulary that they may not be familiar with, and then be taken through activities to help them remember and recall these new words.
