It’s everyone’s favorite time of year & dressing the part is one of my favorite things. So whether is work clothes, party fits, leisure wear or pj, this is a collection of things from my favorite go to stores. This list isn’t finished, by a long shot, but I wanted to go ahead & release it while items are stocked.

Whether you’re headed to a work party, friends gathering, or special holiday event, having something festive & sparkly to wear always makes the event more fun. These are some of my favorite picks from some of my favorite stores.

Pajamas are my love language. I just know my mother started the holiday family pajama trend because we’ve done this my entire life, long before it was popular, lol! The holiday pajama game is strong and it’s one of my favorite parts about the holidays. It’s nothing strange at all for me to buy holiday pjs even in the summer if I see a pair I can’t live without. Getting matching pjs in multiple sizes & styles that everyone will find comfortable & perfect for everything from photos to pancakes & presents is no easy feat. I’ve bought pjs in all styles & price ranges. This list is a collection of some of my tried & true favorites, made from quality fabrics & long lasting. I’ve highlighted a few patterns from each brand, just click the link to see each brand’s entire collection. I love how so many of these prints coordinate allowing you to mix and match, if you choose. I’ve tried to include a broad price range that will hopefully fit all budgets. This is definitely one of the first things to fly off the shelves, so get your’s early. It’s very possible some sizes & prints may be gone by the time this reaches you!

As we approach the holiday season, we all have those on our lists that love all things makeup & beauty. Sometimes we’re at a loss as to just what to give that girly girl, so I’ve put together a list of some of my favorites in hopes of making your shopping a bit easier.

We’re vastly approaching the most wonderful time of the year! Brands launch their best gifts (and prices) and they go fast. That being said, while I’ll still be adding to & creating other lists that will also be full of great gift ideas, this list will be dedicated to holiday exclusive beauty gifts. You’ll find something for everyone on your list (and some goodies for yourself too). These are my favorite brands & I use them regularly. This year’s holiday beauty sets are so good that I couldn’t narrow down my choices, so I decided to make a part 2. I’m a certified makeup junkie and regularly buy from all of these brands. There’s something for every age & price range.

I’m a lip junkie. They’re in all of my bags, bedside table, car, basically everywhere I might need to reach for one. This list is my must haves. While we all love Sephora & Ulta for so many reasons, it really does pay to set up an account on individual brands’ websites. Most offer loyalty programs with very good perks & offer private sales multiple times a year that aren’t always available in other places. A lot also do first looks to their loyalty members. They sometimes also offer sizes & even shade/scent options that are only available through their site or store directly.

Blush seems to be making a mad comeback as of late & I’m so happy. I’ve always been team “bring on the blush”. It’s great in the winter when you need extra color & always accentuates those cheeks and helps chisel them out. These are some of my go-to’s.

I’m not a “clean girl” aesthetic. I love a full beat & that means a great eye look. These are some of my favorite pallets!

Admittedly, my favorite skincare line is Peter Thomas Roth as referenced by its own section, but there are other great products out there & if I’ve listed it, then you know it’s passed my wear test. I never made recommendations unless I’ve personally used the products & given them ample time to dazzle me. While we love Sephora & Ulta for their ability to one stop shop & that’s definitely an asset, buying products directly from the brand also has its own set of perks. Most brands offer loyalty programs making it well worth your time to sign up. They also have sales that may offer greater discounts & include free samples. It’s also worth mentioning that you can sometimes get larger sizes that are only available directly through them. For those who follow my account , this is going to seem repetitive, but I will make this statement in every category to ensure I get the message out to everyone who stumbles on any of my lists!

Stocking Stuffers are always one of my favorite things to put together at Christmas. Brands always offer perfect offerings that are just the perfect size for stockings, but it’s also a great place for all of those little things that are a combination of wants, needs, a perhaps even a couple of surprises. Generally I like to do a big surprise in the stocking too. The saying, good things come in small packages fits perfectly here. So while most of the things on this list are small & affordable, I have included a few big gift ideas.

These mugs & tumblers by sSwig Life are my favorite brand & style. The designs are adorable & new prints are introduced often for both holidays and everyday. They keep my drink cold about 36 hrs (will still have ice) and hot for about 8. They come with a lifetime warranty; just scan the QR code that’s comes on the tag on the Swig Life site and you’ll always have a record. Best of all the cone in so many different sizes unlike a lot of other brands. I’ve been using these for about 6 years and continue adding to my collection. If you register your account with Swig Life, you earn points for each purchase that add up to pretty good discounts on future orders. Welcome to Birmingham, Alabama & surrounding areas. We have a pretty happening food scene here in the Ham & have many award winning restaurants & chefs. We’re also a burgeoning food truck area that’s always hosting events to promote & introduce both locals & visitors to the best of this trend. I do have a couple of chain restaurants, but most are unique to the area. So if you’re here visiting or just passing through, come hungry & give some of these spots a try. No one enjoys a shopping trip more than I do. However, sometimes I’m in a time crunch and I also like the ability order from some stores that aren’t local to me. Although, I very much enjoy shopping small & supporting businesses in my area, that’s not always possible. Like everyone, I also turn to widely known companies like Amazon & Target and clothing stores like Ann Taylor, Anthropologie, Banana Republic & J Crew, but sometimes I just want something a bit more distinctive. When I’m in a mood like this, these are some of my favorite go-to recommendations.

I love discovering new businesses & favorite things. One of the best ways to do this without investing a ton of money is through subscription boxes. I have tried them all. Though I have a few from major brands, most of my favorites come from small businesses & creators. Show these creators some love and check out their pages and websites. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
