Pokémon was one of the most formative games for so many of us, and here are the 15 that impacted me the most.
Treecko is so underrated, and is a Pokémon that needed to be talked about early.
Treecko
Chimchar should be the front leading fire Pokémon over Charmander, may be a hot take but someone needed to say it.
Chimchar
Squirtle is an OG, and essentially defines what a water Pokémon aspires to be.
Squirtle
I know I bagged on Charmander earlier, but he is still an OG and one of my favorites.
Charmander
Cubone is aeshetically unlike any other Pokémon in the game, and he made such a strong name for himself after being an orphan. An inspiration to all.
Cubone
Pikachu is the OG of OG's and we are all lying if he might not just be at the top of this list.
Pikachu
Eevee's as a whole deserve a spot here, but Leafon is my personal favorite evolution, as I'm sure it is for most.
Leafeon
Torchic now comes in at the most underrated fire Pokémon, and deserves it's slot for that reason alone.
Torchic
Gyarados is what all trainers aspire to get, and who few finally get to own.
Gyarados
Pokémon really got their original 3 picks right for who people can choose, and Bulbasaur is no exception.
Bulbasaur
Dratini might be my favorite stand alone Pokémon. Whether it's the Dratini's evolution into Dragonite, or the Pokémon in its purest form, Dratini is one of them ones.
Dratini
Mew was the first Legendary Pokémon that I ever was familiar with, and really opened up my third eye to what was possible.
Mew
Snorlax is the epitome of cozy, and reminds me of Totoro in the best way.
Snorlax
I love Ursaring, but something about a Teddiursa just speaks to the soul. Maybe it's the teddy bear like qualities it carries, but Teddi is a must add.
Teddiursa
Last but not least, Umbreon is one of the collest Pokémon in the game. Sort of mysterious and is one of the lesser recieved Eevee evolutions, but is not one to overlook.
