I usually prefer to cook at home (in this economy!), but when I go out to eat, I make sure my money is well spent on flavors and quality.

The sandwiches and pastries here are pretty good, but I only come out here for the donuts.  So fluffy, yeasty, fresh and simple.

So this place isn't exactly in Toronto but in Mississauga, but their food is very reminiscent of home cooked Italian food I had in Italy a few years ago.  Just simple and tasty.  But the star of the show here is the Sfoglia cake.  OMG, took me right back to Italy! The whipping cream was fresh and the Italian pastry cream had that very subtle hint of lemon that is missing in a lot Italian pastry creams here.  This place is out of my way, so whenever I'm in the area, I'll order a large one (don't judge me), and cut it up and put it in the freezer so I'll have Sfoglia cake on demand (ok, fine, judge me).

I'd call this an upscale American BBQ resto.  Tender briskets, flavourful sauces.  And also this is the only bbq joint where the veggie side dishes are almost as good as the mains!

Intimate and unassuming restaurant serving filipino food with a twist.  Get the Chef's tasting menu so you can try a bit of almost everything and the Pandan Express cocktail.

If you love a burger that makes a mess in the best way possible, this spot needs to be on your list. Their Wagyu beef patties are juicy, rich, and completely halal. Order the Onions We Crazy Burger, it's loaded, cheesy, and absolutely not first-date ...

Cozy, quiet, and full of homestyle charm, this Calabrian gem serves up authentic flavors you won’t forget. The braised beef ravioli is a must, and the tiramisu is the perfect sweet finish. 🍝✨

If you know, you know. Loga's Corner is that unassuming little spot you’d walk past without realizing it’s serving some of the juiciest, most tender Tibetan momos in the city. Order the beef and the potato momos, drown them in their spicy sauces, and...
