Outdoor Activities
Amazing for so many activities - home to Barton Springs, the Zephyr, a scenic trail, and open space with city and river views
Zilker Metropolitan Park
Align yourself with old Austin's mindful respect for nature while enjoying a crisp dip, people watching, and sunbathing on the picturesque lawn
Barton Springs Pool
Hands down the best way to experience a bit of everything Austin has to offer - so many vendors!
Texas Farmers' Market at Mueller
Hiking, bouldering, climbing, and water just a few minutes from Austin
Reimers Ranch Park
Don't let the watery photos fool you - there isn't much water on most of the trail, but it is still the best spot to hike with your dog.
Barton Creek Greenbelt
We find something new to ooh and aaahh over every time we visit, and they have the best seasonal nights out events.
Zilker Botanical Garden
Amazing spot - I don't frequent this one often since pets are not allowed, but the views and nature are breathtaking.
Wild Basin Preserve | St. Edwards University in Austin, TX
This one is a gem - get your cameras ready!
Mayfield Park
Restaurants
Amazing food, and the best gluten free options around.
VIA 313
Pricey, but damn the food and service makes it worth the coins.
CARVE American Grille
Amazing and authentic, it's easy to order and eat too much!
House of Three Gorges (三峡人家)
Hands down the best variety of Thai
Sap's Ver Fine Thai Cuisine - Parmer Lane - Cedar Park, TX
Great setting for people watching, and the food is amazing.
The Peacock
A must for us every week
Aba Restaurant Austin
Arts & Entertainment
Art for every sensibility, plus a great location near downtown and UT
Blanton Museum of Art
Comfy recliners and great food while you watch the big screen? Yes, please!
Moviehouse & Eatery by Cinépolis SW Austin
Architecture, people watching, location – this library has it all!
Austin Public Library
It's hard to believe the iconic works in this gallery are in little ole Austin, TX.
