items I’ve read 20+ Star Wars novels and truly think some of the best Star Wars stories are in the books! I want more people to get into them, and it’s very easy if you already like the films.

⭐️Darth Bane Trilogy
I’ve only ever seen 1 Star Wars movie, but this book sparked my deep love for Star Wars novels (I have a whole shelf full now.). This novel tells a story through the eyes of a Sith Lord (long before Luke Skywalker), and explains how the Rule of Two b...
Path of Destruction (Star Wars Legends: Darth Bane #1)
The second installment in the darth bane trilogy which explores darth banes and Zannahs dynamic, as well as banes philosophy and complete rebuilding of The Siths themselves, hence the title The Rule of Two. If you’ve seen the Star Wars movies, you li...
Rule of Two (Star Wars Legends: Darth Bane #2)|Paperback
The final installment of the Darth bane trilogy does not disappoint! It’s extremely difficult to write a satisfy ending but I truly believe this hits all the marks. Without spoiling anything, this story expertly concludes bane and zannahs story toget...
Dynasty of Evil (Star Wars Legends: Darth Bane #3)|Paperback
The Movie Adaptations
After reading the Darth bane trilogy, I immediately read all the Star Wars movie book adaptations starting with this one. This book is pretty light and a great start to Luke Skywalker story and hooked me immediately. I think the dialogue is a lot bet...
Star Wars: A New Hope: The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy|eBook
This novel follows directly after Alexandra Brackens New Hope novel, but with a different writer. This book, interestingly enough, has an interactive section where readers can do little activities that test their Jedi abilities. This book is definite...
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back: So You Want to Be a ...
This is the last book following The Empire Strikes Back novel, and definitely my favorite. Just like the last two, this novel has a different writer who really characterized Darth Vader well. The writing has a good understanding of risk, even though ...
Star Wars: Return of the Jedi: Beware the Power of the Dark Side!|eBook
This book absolutely solidified my love for Star Wars novels. I initially read the Darth Bane trilogy (still my favorite book trilogy to this day), then read the New Hope trilogy which was still great, not as good as Darth bane, but still. Then I rea...
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith|eBook
PRE Luke Skywalker
This novel is rich in world building and story telling, and gives great context to years prior to Luke Skywalker and the general audience’s understanding of Star Wars. My favorite aspect of this book is how scarce the main heroes are, and how unbalan...

X-wing series
Have you ever wondered what a Star Wars story that didn’t revolve around Jedi or Sith would look like? The X-wing series follows a group of rebel alliance pilots and their fight against imperialism without the aid of any Jedi or lightsabers!
This is the first book in the ten Star Wars x wing series books and expertly sets up the x wing pilots as a group and their dynamic in protecting the rebel alliance but still working with the politics that come with being in the rebel alliance itself...
Rogue Squadron (Star Wars Legends: Rogue Squadron #1)|Paperback
The second story in the x-wing series. This book explores skills (other than piloting) that the squad Wedge built in the first book have. This one quite different than the first, given the lack of of X-wings, but explores the character dynamics decen...
Wedge's Gamble (Star Wars Legends: Rogue Squadron #2)|Paperback
3rd book in the x-wing series. This book is better than the first two in my opinion. Corran’s character arc is extremely compelling in this one, even if he is unlikable and not very popular to most readers I’ve interacted with. This book explores the...
The Krytos Trap (Star Wars Legends: Rogue Squadron #3)|Paperback
Fourth book in the X-wing series. This one is hard to talk about without spoilers, but is another fantastic addition to the series and last book written by Stackpole (until Isard’s revenge). The rogue squadrons independence from the new republic lead...
The Bacta War: Star Wars Legends (Rogue Squadron)|Paperback
5th book in the x-wing series. The previous book’s cast have been compared to Top Gun (though I’ve never seen those movies), whereas this group is a bit more rough around the edges. I do slightly prefer them a bit more! You can definitely see why peo...
Wraith Squadron (Star Wars Legends: X-Wing #5)|Paperback
6th book in the X-wing series. If you liked the last one, you will like this one. This story has high emotional peaks and great character work continuing with the same Wraith squadron from the last book. There are some very sad moments in this one an...
Iron Fist (Star Wars Legends: X-Wing #6)|Paperback
7th book! X-wing!! Wraith squadron + Han Solo. Really all I need to say for this one
Solo Command (Star Wars Legends: X-Wing #7)
Collection(s)
Three Star Wars novels for an affordable price. See my previous listing for my Knight Errant review. Star Wars: Choices of one is set in between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, and follows the titular characters from those films such as Luke ...
