This year I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried to read more indie and urban fiction books. These are the books / series that will stick with me for awhile. I heavily read books by Black authors, so if that's your jam, see my of amazing reads.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire ride. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything by S.A. Cosby. All of his books read like movies.
King of Ashes: A Novel by S. A. Cosby
This was a cute romance that made me smile. I normally don’t like romance, but I enjoyed this one.

Curvy Girl Summer (Curve, 1) by Allen
This is part one of a series. I have never read a book where I was rooting for reconciliation after infidelity. I was so conflicted, but I loved the ride that this series took my emotions.
Parachutes: Book One: The Fall - Kindle
A book series about a magical HBCU? Baby, sign me up. This is a great series that reads like a tv series. Each character is memorable and adds layers to the journey of discovering the mysteries at Drew Collins University.
The Secret World of Maggie Grey 4-Book Series
So this is book 1 of a 3 part series. The Danger brothers will take you through a BDSM journey that will have you questioning your kinks. There is nothing vanilla about these books. I love how the stories are amazing and the spicy scenes flow flawles...
Tempted by Danger (The Danger Family Book 1)
This was a pleasant surprise to read. I did not think that I would like this one so much, but the story sucked me in from beginning to end. I loved the growth of the mmc.
