Near the Pitti Palace - this Gelateria was handsdown the BEST we had in Florence. We came back here multiple times it was so yummy!
Organic gelato near Pitti Palace and the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge. Many vegan flavors available too!
Our driver/tour guide mentioned this was his favorite gelateria to stop by with his kids, so naturally we had to try it! The flavors were delicious and not a far walk from the Pitti Palace.
This is the viral shop known for it's affogato (gelato with fresh esspresso in the middle) and even though the line was long - it was 110% worth it. I'll continue to dream about the pistachio affogato, lol
Venchi is a chain shop which you can find in most Italian cities. The gelato is good but it can lean on the pricer side compared to some of the more local places. We still loved it since it was close to our hotel!

If you're looking for a private driver in the Tuscany area - you have to call Martin! He was the best! He is super kind and got us exactly where we needed to go in a timely manner. We could chit chat with Martin all day - he was so knowledgeable!
The former home of the Medici family! There is so much history here and it's gorgeous.
You could spend a whole day here, it is MASSIVE! If you love gardens and nature, this is a stop you can't miss. I would schedule 2-3 hours here to feel like you can see it all.
This is the Florence School of Leather - it is so facinating to see students working on all sorts of leather projects. They also have a showroom with ready-to-purchase products and you cna get them customized while you are there with your initials.

Get skip the line tickets! We got tickets and tour guide last minute from Airbnb experiences, and it was worth every penny. Getting the depth of knowledge from a tour guide is helpful to understanding the history you are looking at.
The 4th largest church in the world! The size is stunning and the design is something you could stare at forever. We got tickets to climb the Bell Tower. It's 400 steps, but worth it once youc an see the view from the top.
This bridge is known for it's gold & is filled with so much history. Make sure to look up to see the secret hallway the Medici family built so they didn't have to walk the streets!
Beautiful palazzo filled with art on every corner & museums nearby. Not a sight to miss with the medival buildings still standing strong~
