All the best buttery, flaky croissants around Los Angeles from a French guy who loves pastries!
My go-to is an Almond Croissant when I’m sus’ing a place out, but all of these ranking are based on their plain Croissants.

My all-time five favorite spots in LA for croissants. If you’re looking for the best of the best, I gotchu!
These are my absolute favorite in the city! SUPER authentic and I love everything here.
Des Croissants Paris
Come early if you want to try these croissants because they sell out EARLY, especially on the weekends!
Petitgrain Boulangerie
The vertical/spiral croissants are the best I’ve ever had! But the regular croissants are also solid.
Artelice Pâtisserie
Everything in the pastry case here is a 10/10 so you really can’t go wrong!
République Café Bakery & République Restaurant
I love their croissants and they’re perfect for making sandwiches at home!
Tartine Santa Monica
Best of the Rest
These places are also worth acknowledging, even though they’re not in my top 5. All have croissants you will love!
You can find these at farmer’s markets across LA or at their brick and mortar! While you’re there, try one of their famous coffee cakes too.
Pastries by Edie - Boule de Pain
If you want layers, Lodge Bread Co has the MOST!
Lodge Bread Company
I had a Guava Croissant here that I think about OFTEN.
MillCross Coffee Bar & Kitchen / La Sabina Wine Bar
This place is what’s up, from bread (some of my favorite around LA) to the pastries and croissants!
Clark Street Bakery
A solid croissant and great ambiance for a meal or quick pastry hit!
Bianca
Everything here is great, but especially the croissants and bread. You can pass on the scones.
Jyan Isaac Bread
This is a go-to spot for brunch when guests are in town and their croissants are great!
