A quintessential LA food and one that I’ve eaten probably twice a month for my entire 16 years in Los Angeles. So if anyone knows a good breakfast burrito, it’s me!
I’m looking for crispy bacon, any form of potato, and salsas or sauces that kick ev...

Not Quite Burritos

If you can only try one, these are the best of the best in my opinion.
I may be biased because I went to Pepperdine so these breakfast burritos basically fueled four years of my life but these are my GOAT. Get the Bacon Breakfast Burrito and add potatoes (and avocado if you’re feeling that) plus extra hot sauce on the s...
Lily's Malibu
This place is on basically every list of “Best Breakfast Burritos in LA” for a reason. The bacon is perfectly cooked every time, the tots are fresh and crispy, and that cilantro crema cannot be beat. Finally a breakfast burrito that isn’t overhyped!
WAKE & LATE
Everything you want in a breakfast burrito, fresh and appropriately sized. I get the Bacon and add Avocado, but these Pastrami is next level and so unique.
Cofax
The Best of the Rest
These are all solidly in the top 50% of breakfast burritos I’ve had in LA, so worth trying if you’re in the area or want a new favorite!
Don’t sleep on this Culver City taco joint serving up some surprisingly tasty breakfast burritos. The best thing on their menu! Ask for extra Chipotle Aioli if you love sauce, theirs is unreal.
Cerveteca Culver City
The Rico Suave is so well-known (and good!) that you can now find it in coffee shops around the area too!
The Rooster
Great ambiance if you want to switch it up and do a dine-in breakfast burrito! Get the banana bread too for a little sweet and savory combo.
Great White
Very similar to Wake & Late but just not quite as good in the sauce department, which knocks it down a tick. Still a great breakfast burrito!
Sobuneh
Not Quite Burritos
These are some breakfast burrito-adjacent foods that hit the spot and deserve a mention on the list!
Not a breakfast burrito, but the best breakfast tacos (and queso!) in town. I love the Trinity, Neches, and Pecos tacos.

The Chapatis are “elevated breakfast burritos” served in a whole-wheat wrap. The Neuske’s is the bacon, avocado, and egg one that’s a true standout. Both of the sauce options are great too, but especially the candied jalapeño one.
