I’ve been a babysitter for 4 years and here are some of my favorite things
Any kind of chalk. Kids love to draw on things that aren’t paper, so get them outside and draw on the ground. The holders make it less messy so that you can go in to the next activity faster
Bluey™ Jumbo Chalk With Holders 5-Pack
My little baby who just turned 2 has loved these books since I started with him at 4 months old. When we were reading it the other night he started making the noises whenever I would press the button. We always have so much fun with this one
Busy Noisy Farm Early Bird Sound Book by Cottage Door Press
Old Macdonald is a crowd favorite. It helps them learn what animals look like and what sounds they make. And you better have as much fun as I do and sing along with it
A baby that I have has this book (they have 3 wiener dogs) and reading this to him is so much fun. It’s from the dogs POV which is so cute. I always make a voice that I feel fits the dog
Dog's First Baby: A Board Book, Book 1 (Dog and Cat's First)
The baby I babysit brought this to me (along with many other books) and I was so excited to read it. There are so many different textures to keep the kids engaged while learning about different animals and safety (in a fun way)
Never Touch a Porcupine! - by Stuart Lynch (Board Book)
The 2 year old I babysit has this book and it is so cute! It has different animals and uses puns (like the one on the cover) to show how much the parents love their kids
Rose Rossner: I Love You Like No Otter (Board Book)
