There are several Powell's locations throughout the Portland Metro Area and all love them are great to visit!
The largest independent bookstore in the world! Explore an entire city block, 4 levels and 9 different rooms just full of books! Give yourself plenty of time to browse, there's so much to look at.
Powell's City of Books
Located in the heart of Southeast Portland, Powell's Books on Hawthorne is smaller, more relaxed than the main store.

Spoke & Word
If you're in the mood for a hunt this is the place to go! An old house turned into a bookworms dream hoard. They have a lot of old and used books and do keep new releases in stock too.
