The girl loves Dog Man. From what I've heard, you don't have to read these in order, but I don't know that for a fact. She loves 'em, she wanted two from the bookfair - she didn't even want to consider other options.

I have nothing to back this, but I think she will like books like Warriors. I used to work in a Secondary library and these were such a hit. Students loved Warriors whether they were GN or not.
