The Secret History a book by Donna Tartt
Another one of my favourites, and if you liked The secret history, you should definitely give this a go and I personally loved the characters in this novel even more (seeing I have read tho whole 900+ pages in a week)
The Goldfinch a book by Donna Tartt
The Poppy War series is a military fantasy book trilogy by R.F. Kuang, inspired by 20th-century China and based on the Second Sino-Japanese War. It is definitely worth reading but prepare yourself for an emotional rollercoaster.
The Complete Poppy War Trilogy Boxed Set
This is the book that got me into reading and it is still one of the best books I have read. Everything from the storytelling to the characters and plot twists is just perfect and it something different than your usual ya book.
Six of Crows
I have spent the summer reading this dystopian science fiction book and it really deserves all the attantion. The last part of this series comes out this year so this would be the perfect time to get into it.
Red Rising Saga by Pierce Brown
As a long Hunger Games fan I absolutely loved this book and was sobbing the whole time. Poor Haymitch:(
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (2026)
The perfect summer book and through its incredible writinh it takes you right into Florence, Italy. A loved how it followed each character through their story but at the same time they were all interlinked and brought together by fate.
Still Life by Sarah Winman
As a fantasy fan I had to include this one. The series is just incredible and I was thinking about every day for another year.
