As a Fine Art's Major with a Minor in Art History - a girl likes to get her inspiration from the outside world around her. When I studied abroad for Art History, we visited so many museums + brought our own art supplies. Because of that I've learned to pack smarter + shape my art around my environment. That means leaving the bulkier sketchbooks at home w/o sacrificing the craft.

Listen, I am a girl who MOVES. One month I'm in NYC, the next I'm backpacking Europe. Because I basically live out of a few storage units and a few pairs of rotating luggage, I've had to get really creative on space and narrowing down what to take vs what to leave.

My 3rd home <3 (I claim a lot of places). But, I did actually live here last year and am feeling super called to go back. I don't even think this is a hot take - I believe California is one of (if not THE) prettiest states in the country. There is so much diversity in the land, the people, the food, the things to do… it really has it all. You've got the so-cal surfer vibe, the mountain climber Yosemite vibe, the Hollywood starlet vibe, the silicon valley tech vibe, the wine country vibe. Colorado is my second home - the first place I moved to outside of Nebraska. Its' always had such a special place in my heart. For this place, we are channeling the mountain western vibesss. Starting off strong with the place I know best - where I was born: Omaha, Nebraska (and beyond). Despite popular opinion, Nebraska can be pretty multi-faceted. I've always loved the pacific north west and have traveled there quiet a bit in the last few years. While I've never officially moved here, this is one of the states that I've visited the most. I've done the whole van life up here with a friend and have spent time going to music festivals at the Gorge. My best friend also went to school down in Portland and we'd come up here for weekend getaways when I'd come visit. Here's a list of places that I've ventured off too during that time.
