This place gets crowded but it’s worth the wait. The lobster was so good and they don’t cheap out on you! Make sure to also get the whoopie pie!
The Highroller Lobster Co.
This place was hidden but I saw so many locals rave about this place. They have a lot of duck menu items. My favorite has to be the poutine fries.
DUCKFAT
Great place to get maple donuts right on the old port district!
The Holy Donut
This was right next to our hotel. Iconic brewery to visit while in Portland.
Shipyard Brewing Company
I loved this place! Right on the wharf where staff were super friendly. We got the clam chowder and seafood bisque.
Geddy's
We went to this coffee shop near by before we headed off to Bar Harbor!
Speckled Ax
Activities
I was excited to cross this park off my list. Beautiful scenery on the bubble rock trail. Went over winter but would rec coming during the spring or summer since some roads were closed off.
Acadia National Park
Finally got to see the lighthouse with my own eyes rather than a saved desktop screensaver. There’s a museum attached to it but was closed during the time I went.
Portland Head Light
This was an unexpected activity that we found when trying to stay warm indoors. We got to make our own terrarium which they had so many plants and rocks to choose from.
Terrarium
Right next to the main light house was this state park. We took a stroll and got to see the beautiful fall leaves.
Two Lights State Park
Shopping
Old port had so many shops you can visit when doing your holiday or souvenir shopping.
Old Port
The wharf had such a beautiful view located right near Acadia national park. Great place to shop and eat. They have lobster ice cream if you’re willing to try.
The Wharf - Camden, Maine
Hotel
This was such a clean and beautiful hotel. We enjoyed eating at their restaurant and viewing the city from our hotel room.
