a very cool museum in an 18th-century rococo building tracing history of danish & international industrial design.
Design Museum Denmark
instantly recognisable, this waterfront canal harbour showcases iconic coloured houses, while making for a nice stroll and photo op. i recommend taking one of the harbour boat tours that depart from here.
Nyhavn
experience royalty in this dutch renaissance palace & gardens.
Rosenborg Castle
really nice place for a walk, free admission with paid options also available.
Botanical Gardens
1970s commune known for its free-spirited residents, quirky stores, music bars & street art.
Freetown Christiania
coty-centre gardens that are free to enter showcasing a range of displays, plants, and statues, along with a paid option to enter the greenhouses & natural history museum.

possibly the most famous symbol of copenhagen. it is a little bit out of the way, so best advice is to mix it with another nearby attraction, or take public transport as opposed to walking.
