Teachers are one of our most valuable resources. I show appreciation for all they do by giving them small gifts during the school year. A Back to School Gift, one for Winter Break and an End of Year gift to show how important they are. Teachers have one of the toughest jobs. I work in a school dedicated to special needs and teachers really give it their all. They help coordinate related services such as PT, OT and Speech. They are usually the first ones to pick up on vision needs or even suggest related services for students that might have slipped under the radar, so to speak.

I am a Physical Therapist Assistant in a school that serves students with special needs. We work on Coordination, Balance and Play Skills. These are the tools and toys we use to encourage mastery of these skills in a fun and playful way.

I recently adopted a beautiful Australian Shepherd Puppy. She is very young and needs lots of teething toys. I always worry about choking hazards as well as finding toys that are engaging. A vision board that you see every day is a great way to keep where you want to be in mind so you don't veer off track. Your vision board should also be aesthetically pleasing for you so you'll actually smile every time you see it, keeping the connection for where you are to where you want to be a positive place.

You can't manage what you don't measure, and these have helped me measure the stats I find important.

My gray cat Frank is spoiled rotten by all the toys, food and treats I pick up for him. These are the things that Frank loves and we use on a regular basis. Yes, I spoil my cat, but he's worth it. When it comes to toys. he prefer ones where I can interact with him or if they have a hiding place for him. He's a rather large cat, so our picks are good for the bigger kitties, too.
