Using a lip liner helps elevate your lip combo.
This is a great longer lasting creamy lip liner. I find it looks great on a lot of different skin tones. Maybelline has a great formula in this!
Long Lasting Drugstore Lip Liner - Maybelline
NYX has a huge variety of lip liner shades and formulas. I really like their different options and range of shades. My personal favorites are Espresso and Cold Brew.

If you want a high end lip liner that WILL NOT MOVE try Charlotte's. There is a lot of shades that can work for brown skin. I like this darker brown shade because it blends well with a lighter gloss and a darker gloss.

These are a few classics an d tried and true glosses.
This is my favorite drugstore lip gloss. It is non-sticky, smells good, and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.
My all time favorite Lip Oil
This is such a classic for me. This gloss looks good worn alone and combined with a pink or brown toned lip liner. It smells delicious and it radiates shine.
Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer
I think a lot of these shades would look good on darker skin tones. I like to layer the guava with a darker lip liner. I think it has a nice contrast to it.
Lip Glaze Plumping Gloss
If you're looking for a tried and true higher end product, Summer Fridays Lip Balm has a cult following. I love the Vanilla Beige shade but the Cherry flavor is also a close second. These look good alone and also layered with a liner.

This is a favorite of mine in the clear gloss/balm category. Not only is Topicals a good brand but it also feels amazing on the lips. A little goes a long way!

The NYX Butter Gloss in shade Spiked Toffee is the “my Lip but Better shade” for my skin tone. I love the wide range of colors and options this gloss has. If you want to spice it up add a lip liner to one of these glosses.

I've recently been trying more lip stains, these are a few of my favorites.
If you're in the market for a new glossy lip stain, I recommend Elf. I have the shade Basic Beige and I love the color. I get a lot of compliments on the shade and it also has good wear strength.

Another great drugstore option. This one has a pigmented stain and it also gives you a glossy sheen.
Milani Lip Stain
This viral lip stain is loved by many. People use it as a lip liner and all over stain. They have a variety of colors that work on a range of skin tones.
SACHEU Lip Stain
This is a classic from the Kbeauty market. I like this formula a lot and they have a lot of different shades but I lean towards the berry and darker shades since I stray from pinks and reds
