My favorite beauty products — including hair, makeup, skincare, etc
This is the only cleansing balm I’ve found that not only removes my makeup so quick, but does so without irritating my skin! I’ve tried so many other cleansing balms that leave my skin on fire and so red, but this one feels so nice on my skin. And if...
Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm
The best full coverage concealer! For me, this has totally replaced foundation. I don't feel like I need to wear foundation at all when I wear this concealer. And a little bit goes such a long way; I've been using the same container for such a long time now.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
This stuff feels so darn good on my lips. It's smooth, soothes my chapped lips, smells good, and adds a shine (and tint, depending on the shade you choose) that generally replaces lip gloss/lipstick for me.
Lip Butter Balm, Vanilla
I have been on a dry shampoo journey. Every dry shampoo I've tried, even more expensive brands, have had one issue or another. One does a great job of removing grease, but leaves a white residue that is hard to get rid of; one is required to sit in your hair for 2 mins before being worked through which is so inconvenient. The is the only dry shampoo I've found that doesn't leave any residue, I brush it right through my hair, and it makes my hair look so much cleaner that it did two minutes before spraying it. An easy repurchase!
OGX Extra Strength Dry Shampoo, Coconut Oil
I love this stuff! I have frizzy hair and was originally certain oil to apply to my hair to reduce the frizz. My hair gets oily so easily though, so that didn't work for me. This cream serves the same purpose as those oils, removing the frizz, but does so without making my hair oily! I use this most mornings, especially to tame my hair on the days that it's especially frizzy. Highly recommend!
I do not wish a sunburn on anyone…but if you get a bad sunburn, this stuff soothes it and cools like none other. I got a severe sunburn last summer and ended up needing medicated ointment, but before I could get to the doctor, this stuff was the only thing that provided any relief. Highly recommend!
VEGAN BEAUTY Aloe Vera Watery Gel
I get a Keratin treatment done on my hair and was recommended this as a product to apply, after showering, each time I wash my hair, in order to prolong the Keratin. It definitely helps keep my hair healthy and as a result, enables to go longer between treatments. It also provides moisture without making my hair greasy, which is a big plus, as that can be hard to find. Highly recommend for those with frizzy and/or dry hair, regardless of whether you do a Keratin or other treatment.
HIGH DIVE Moisture + Shine Crème
I was first recommended this product by a family friend years ago. It's a BB Cream, which is perfect for me, because it's light on the skin and enables my skin to breathe. For special events, I use a more full coverage foundation, but for everyday use, I don't need something as heavy as a foundation, so this is perfect! And the color I use matches my skin perfectly, which can be difficult to find.
Radiant Defense Perfecting Liquid SPF 30 - Shell
My hair is stubborn…it didn't like to hold a curl, doesn't like to hold any sort of styling done to it. This is the only hairspray I've found that helps. My hair is just difficult to deal with, so I won't say it's perfect, but if I curled my hair for any kind of special event, I immediately spray this stuff, and the curl definitely holds for longer!
Garnier Fructis Style Control Anti-Humidity Hairspray
Ex gymnast here! My gymnastics coach was quite strict about hair needing to be in a high bun, no flyways, no nothing. So, hair glue it was. Can't say I've used this since those days, as I don't where slick backs for everyday, but if you need your hair to be perfectly slicked back, there's no other product I would recommend. It's called hair glue for a reason!
Schwarzkopf got2b Glued Spiking Glue 3-Pack
I know it's expensive…I got it as a gift and probably wouldn't have purchased it for myself if it wasn't gifted to me. That said, it has completely replaced all hair dryers and other styling tools I have. Dries my hair faster than any dryer, straightens my hair faster than any straightener, curls my hair only faster but better than any curler, is easy to use, speeds up my hair routine as I can dry and style at that same time. I could go on and on. So worth the splurge!
Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler and dryer
These witch hazel pads are so much easier and in my opinion, work so much better than just adding witch hazel to a cotton pad. Just rub this on any blemish you have and don't be afraid to do so with a little pressure. Your pimple will go away so much faster!
Witch Hazel Cleansing Pads
I know this stuff is expensive, but as a girl with dry skin and sensitive skin, it's the only body wash I will use. I use this as body wash, face wash, soap, all of the above! And it's true to the name — it's gentle and cleanses the skin.
Gentle Skin Cleanser - Face & Body Cleaner
The cheapest and best mascara you will ever try! I've tried the expensive Two Faced mascaras and other brands that were very clumpy, weren't easy to apply, etc. But this one is so easy to use, works so well, and is $5! If you're looking for a drug store alternative for mascara, this is the one.
