No trip to Athens is complete without visiting the Acropolis. Make sure to beat the crowds by starting your morning exploring the Parthenon and Ancient Theatre.

Mount Lycabettus may not be as well-known, but it offers a really great view! It's not usually crowded at all, as long as you go in the morning. On the way there, you get to walk through the cute neighborhood of Kolonaki.Β
You can either hike to the top or take a cable car. I recommend taking the cable car up and then walking down. On the way down, you'll run into one of my favorite restaurants/cafes, Prasini Tenta!

This is a great restaurant to visit any time of the day! I love going to brunch and getting a nice sunny view of the city. Β It's perfect to stop here right after you've gone to the top of Lycabettus.
