We love the zoo so much. We ended up getting a year explorer pass and we’ve used it so much! I think we went 4 times in the first month of having it - it’s completely paid for itself already!
The Calgary Zoo - Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo
I have loved coming here for years. So much to explore and learn, and now that I have a little one I’m over the moon to be able to bring him here and give him such a cool hands on learning experience!

Heritage park is always a fun place to go for a wander and learn some history! I take my 16month old just to see new things and he’s always so interested!

My favourite childhood spot! A must if you’ve got kids older than toddlers!
Calaway Park
Such a beautiful spot in the summer with the prettiest flowers.
Botanical Gardens of Silver Springs
Such a quiet vintage vibe. This is definitely one of my favourite spots for a good burger
Angel's Drive In
When we want to splurge, this is the spot. All you can eat buffet and rounds of MEAT 🥩 you can’t go wrong
Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse
It’s on my list to go to - I haven’t been yet but adding it bc I’ve heard so many great things!

Bowness Park
We love coming here for a cute little walk. Lots of ducks and geese to see, flowers. There’s often buskers to see and listen to music. My son has the best time running around the open fields
Prince's Island Park
The best spot to see some animals you do t see at the zoo! Bonus points for it being a petting zoo so you can actually touch them 😭🙏🏼
Cobbs Adventure Park: Petting Zoo Calgary
I’ve spent so much time here while roaming downtown! The fish in the ponds are fun to watch, and the nearby food spots make it a good place to go sit and eat in a peaceful location
Devonian Gardens
I’ve done many photoshoots here! As a model/photographer it’s the perfect spot to get a wide range of shots with a variety of different props, but also a mom, it’s a great place to take the little one to run and play!
High Park
Calgarys jewel - the restaurant is alright - a little over priced for the quality in my opinion, but I think it’s worth it to go to the deck and look at the city!
Calgary Tower
Such a nice place for a walk or ride with a city view. Very calm and peaceful
