The one we have been conditioned to believe! The one where we were given our names, parents, children, spouses, jobs, education, careers, culture, religion, race and belief system. The one where we assume the tabulated role we were born into without question. yes...for that ONE brief moment, we forget all the hoop lah and riff raft buzz long enough to ask and contemplate the real question without personality’s interfering applied mask. “Who are YOU? Who are you, really? What are you doing here and where are you going ? Why?” Of course, don’t worry, (before any authentic realization can be had) we will snap back into the hypnotized accepted version of ourselves (so convinced it IS us). Repetition and habit are remarkable deafening creatures! Knowing perfectly well that the minute of unquestionable clarity will pass like a bad case of gas leaving us unperturbed and undisturbed. We will resume our laminated photoed lives smiling, as usual, pretending that any, some, all of it matters.
