boots, boards and bindings
This is the same board that I have but a different year. It's more of an intermediate board with the flex rating being a 5. It can be good for the park but also great to just cruise down the mountain.
CAPiTA Birds of a Feather Snowboard - Women's 2021
If you are a beginner - this is more the type of board you want to look for. This one has rocker to make turns and maneuvering easier.
Rossignol Women's Gala Snowboard
If you are going out west or riding in a lot of POW then you want something like this that will help you float.
Arbor Adult Carter Snowboard 2025
For traveling and keeping everything together a big bag like this is a huge help!
Union makes some of the best bindings in my opinion. If you are beginner or entry level these will do just fine.
Union Rosa
If you are looking to step it up a notch then this is the way to go. These are a 6/10 flex.
Union Juliet
If you are a girlie looking to get into the park then this is the way to go a bit softer and more flexible but still able to cruise the whole mountain.
Union Legacy
These are the most comfortable and soft helmets.
Smith Vantage Mips Helmet - Women's - Ski
I just ordered this bag to travel with! I love that it's light for the plane and can compact.
OutdoorMaster 900D Snowboard Travel Bag

Saving a copy of this on your phone is super helpful!
Vail Trail and Mountain Maps | Vail Ski Resort
Having this app is also helpful!
My Epic: Skiing & Snowboarding
This app is also really cool! It tracks your runs and you can see altitude and speed. It also has a find your friends feature so you can keep track of each other while on the mountain.
Slopes Ski & Snowboard - Track Your Winter Adventures
This was a bar I went to in vail and it was very nice. I had an amazing espresso martini there. Cool vibes and they often have live music.
The Gambit Bar | Sophisticated Food - Drinks - Entertainment
This place was really cool! They have a main bar, a speakeasy and then a game area where they also do music gigs and events. Definitely recommend checking it out if you are in vail.
Home - Chasing Rabbits
This is a ski shop and a bar! Very cool spot to have a drink after the slopes or on a friday night.
Handcrafted skis | Super durable bike and ski packs | MTN Culture hubs
This is a fun sports bar that is in town. I wondered in solo and made friends with the bartender and DJ.
Molly Jacks
This place has a very cozy vibe to it. I got some chicken wings and a hot chocolate that had screwball and some type of banana liquor in it - it was amazing.

For a cute and warm beanie for when you have helmet hair.
Columbia Winter Blur Pom Pom Beanie
If you're looking for a comfortable snow pants NorthFace makes some high quality ones. I have a pair that I have had for over 5 years now.
The North Face Women's Sally Insulated Pants
Obermayber is another great brand for snow attire and these have the extra padding at the bottom to help prevent tears from ski boots.
Obermeyer Women's Malta Snow Pants
I love their backpacks this is great for hiking or traveling.
These are perfect for those days it's not quite freezing but still frigid and you want something to keep the snow and wind off your face while on the slopes.
Having cold feet is not fun. Wear the right kind of socks. NEVER double up either. If your feet get warm/sweaty easily a midweight sock like these is perfect.
