Auckland
This is things to do and places to eat in Auckland. I was based here during my stay.
This was one of my favorite places to eat in Auckland. Their food is amazing!
This was my friend and I's go to spot. They have skweres and you can order as many as you want. It was also not expensive. They have 5 dollar drinks.
Everything here is 8 dollars. This includes food and drinks. You do have to make reservations though because it gets really busy.

This was my favorite place to go shopping. They have a gym, a movie theatre, an arcade, plenty of shops and a grocery store.
This is a great place for a date night or to take the kids. A full arcade and a bar. At 8pm they kick the kids under 18 out and it becomes adults only.
This was where I would go on Saturdays and get my planning done. Their food and coffee is amazing and they have free wifi (and outlets) Their chicken eggs benedict was my favorite.
This was a popular place to go out on a Friday or Saturday night for a drink.
This is another popular place that is fun to go to on the weekends. They have a little bowling alley and they usually have good music.
This is a great place for live music on Friday nights or a bottomless brunch on Sunday.
This is the most popular place for live music in the Viaduct. It does get packed but its a fun spot.
This is popular place to go in Kingsland, especially before & after rugby games.
If you are looking for a cute little apartment to stay in right in the city this place is perfect. Great location.
This place is right in One Tree Hill which is a great spot not far from local restaurants, coffee shops and one tree hill which is a great park to go for a hike or take the dog.
If you don't have a car or don't plan on renting one while you are in Auckland then you can take the train and the busses. It is relatively easy to get around this way and it is very cheap. You just need to get a card from one of the train stations f...
This is a great thing to do during the summer. Take the ferry over to Waiheke Island and do a wine tour, go to the beach and check out the shops.
This is by far my ALL TIME Favorite Wine.
This is a great place to hang out in the summer. They have a beautiful big backyard. It does get busy in the summer.
My friends and I started our wine tour here. It was cool because there was about 14 of us and we got to go down into the cellar to do our tastings.
This place not only has amazing views but amazing food. Their pear and walnut salad and their ceviche was one my favorites.
Wellington
If you are exploring wellington these are things that you need to do.
This place has won so many awards. Thier food is amazing.
This is a popular spot for pasta in Wellington.
This is a cute and cozy and inviting bistro. It's the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern flair.
This is a nice Spanish tapas and Argentina restaurant.
This is a super coffee shop to stop at while your in Wellington.
If you are looking for a place to stay there are some nice places in Wellington. This one is perfect for up to 4.
This is in a great location just on the outside of town.
If you are looking for a guided tour to do in Wellington, this is great way to see the coast.
Wellington has so much history, this is the original museum.
If you are looking for something active you can do while in wellington this bike tour is a lot of fun and good for the family.
Queenstown
This is by far my favorite place in the whole country, I would marry it If I could.
The first time that I did Milford, I booked through them. I had a great experience. This was a long day but they pick you up right in town and it includes everything except food.
Personally I am not a gin fan but if you are this would be the way to try the local gin.
If you like a little hike then i'm telling you this is the most beautiful sights you will see. Mount Cook is a MUST.
This is definitely pricey but it would 100 percent worth it - if you can afford too.
If you are looking for a little thrill, then this is something fun that you can do. They leave right from the pier in town.
There is 3 ice bars in QT now, they are all pretty similar. Definitely check out one of them. They give you jackets and gloves too.
I never got to doing this but I had friends that did and said it was a lot of fun.
This is what my friend and I did to check out some of the wineries. It was great because you could pick and choose the ones you wanted to stop at. They gave you a full list and time table so you could plan.
I did this one because I had never been before. It was fun and cool gliding throuhg the trees.
If your hotel or hostel does not have a hot tub and you are there in the winter then this is a great option.
IF you are a thrill seeker like me then I highly recommend conquering a fear and jumping out of a plane. I did 15,000 feet. The free fall goes quick and the paragliding part is the best.
If you are afraid to do the bungee but want some thrill this was SO MUCH FUN. I would do it over and over it.
IF you are looking for the ultimate thrill then this is it. I did the one in Taupo but it was terrifying. I would do it again.
This is one of my favorite little cocktail spots in queenstown because they have a whole part of the menu for espresso martinis. My favorite is the orange one with tequila.
There is 2 of these in Auckland too but this is the best one.
This place not only has amazing pizza but at night it turns into a lit club. You can dance on tables.
This place often has live music that is good and they have 12 dollar espresso martinis
