I love the Hunger Games series, so naturally I cannot wait for the next installment. If you loved the first trilogy and Ballad, why not read this too! There's already a movie in the works, too.

Adichie's career has been talked about enough that I don't need to do it here. She is incredible, inspiring, and I cannot wait to read her next novel! I was lucky enough to get tickets to hear her talk about this upcoming book at my university later ...

The book plans to tackle issues surrounding race and identity, concepts that seem ever more important in our day and age. It will also follow multiple female perspectives. I particularly enjoy books with female protagonists, so I'm excited to meet al...

I haven't read anything by this author before, but the blurb certainly drew me in. It follows a journalist processing his grief, and involves a cult. I'm a sucker for a book about a cult, so that was an instant pull for me.

The story seems to also follow a story about the Vietnam and a clash between a cult and a church. Overall, it sounds excellent and I cannot wait to read it.
O Sinners!: A Novel|Hardcover

Our protagonist is pulled aside and told she will soon commit a crime. This assertion is pulled from analysis of her dreams conducted by the ‘Risk Assessment Administration’. If that isn't a gripping logline, I don't know what it is!

The protagonist is kept under observation, until a new resident arrives and shakes things up.

The book is set to explore themes of technology, privacy, surveillance, and capitalism.

Anyone who knows me at all knows I'm a sucker for gothic novels. So a book named Gothictown? That's right up my alley.

Billie Hope, our protagonist, purchases a home in Georgia. But living there makes her dreams weird, and her marriage strained. Something is going on here, and she's about to find out just what.

The book has also been compared to works by Shirley Jackson, another author whose work I deeply admire. That comparison alone is enough for me to want to check this out.

I was born in Yorkshire, and that's where this novel is set. That makes it quite a personal pick for me, but let me tell you why it might interest you, too.

The novel is set to follow three young girls coming of age in the nineties in the UK. The three girls, though, all struggle — bold plots, different class status, and keeping peace. The novel will follow them over years, chronicling a secret that thre...

One thing to note is the novel is going to be written in a Yorkshire dialect. That might make it a little harder to read, but still worth it!
We Pretty Pieces of Flesh: A Novel|Hardcover

Universality is one of the top books I want to read this year, as well as being a top pick coming out in March. This is another one set in Yorkshire (little micro-trend there perhaps?), but is entirely different from We Pretty Pieces of Flesh.

Someone is attacked with a solid gold bar on a far, and our protagonist sets out to work out why. When she does solve the mystery, her ‘viral exposé raises more questions than it answers, Who wrote it? Why? And how much of it is true? Through a voyeu...

The book seems to centre on themes of language and media manipulation, as well as power within verbiage. I cannot wait to read it.

I love reading translated fiction, and this has certainly been on my radar. It follows a woman in a care home seeking further autonomy — so she asks for a sperm donor. It also won the Akutagawa Prize!
Hunchback: A Novel|Hardcover

This novel follows grief. Unlike other grief showcased in the books I've laid out for you today as my top picks coming out in March and April of 2025, this grief follows friendship.

‘Jacob learns the true, tragic circumstances behind the mysterious death of Seth, one of his best friends from high school, his world is turned completely upside down.’ Soon he tumbles into a deep investigation, struggling to prove to himself if it e...

I'm currently reading this one (I got it off BOTM!) and enjoying it so far! It's playful and fairly tongue-in-cheek. I would certainly recommend it.

Here's the blurb: ‘The unnamed Iranian-Indian American narrator of Liquid has always believed herself to be the smartest person in the room. And from an early age, she and her best friend—a poet-turned-marketer named Adam—have turned their noses up a...

Emily Henry is considered the best in romance for a reason. Whilst I've enjoyed all of her books that I've read — I've only missed People We Meet on Vacation and plan to read it soon — I have enjoyed some more than others. This one, though, looks lik...

The novel follows the unveiling of a new video game in a seaside town. It isn't long before a virus sweeps the town — and things begin to descend into chaos. Our protagonists aim to fight the madness before it submerges them, too.

Two people find each other once again, after connecting, briefly, once. It is a tale about identity, love, and complicated relationships.
Things Left Unsaid: A Novel|Hardcover

This book is set in a place I know little about, Nigeria. As well as that, it follows a woman facing the choice to leave home, and issues of identity. As soon as I read the blurb, I knew this was a book I needed to read.
