the cool girl bookstore – i used to love coming in here and perusing; made me feel like joan didion in los angeles
Book Soup
totally a tourist trap but such a pretty place! there are books floor to ceiling and you can spend all day in here. there's also tons of art galleries!
The Last Bookstore
i've gotten shushed here many times but it's such a cool bookstore, i don't blame them. i loved looking around here, perusing the titles, and getting coffee!
Stories
this is truly a bookstore for outcasts – they have movie nights, old celebrity photos for sale, and just the best vibe. my friend took me here and it changed my life.
Counterpoint Records & Books
another bookstore for the weirdos – it's just piled with books, which makes you feel right at home if you're an avid reader
Sideshow Books
if you're a fan of barnes & noble but want that elevated – vroman's in pasadena is the only place to go. <3
Vroman's Bookstore
larchmont is a secret GEM in los angeles – highly recommend visiting here and spending a whole day decompressing. if the city feels overwhelming, larchmont is one of my fave places to get away from it all.
Chevalier's Books

this is such a beautiful bookshop; the whole little town is gorgeous and makes you feel like you've fallen back in time. i cannot suggest visiting here enough.
Farley's Bookshop
a five story historic barn filled floor to ceiling with books – this is the place for book lovers. i cannot suggest it enough!
Baldwin's Book Barn
great bookstore, great people, just one of the best.
Head House Books
just the coolest bookshop with curated picks – you know you are supporting good causes & people every time you step in here, which is an incredible feeling.

the last word is such a fun place and a great retreat for when you just want to get lost in books.
