As a mom, it's easy to get lost in motherhood - which means we're often wearing clothes that don't fit anymore, or that don't fit our current lifestyle. We spend money on our kids with ease, but it can be hard to spend money on ourselves, especially if we don't feel confident. I lost my style for many years as a parent, but just recently decided to TAKE IT BACK! These are the clothes I purchased, that have me feeling confident, stylish, and more like myself than I have in years. Bonus points? A lot of it is nursing friendly!

Dresses
You can't go wrong with a good t-shirt dress! Loose enough that it doesn't cling to the parts that you're uncomfortable with, but still fitted enough to give you a cute shape! Add a belt around the waist to dress it up a bit.
Vintage Mini T-Shirt Dress
I cannot get over how flattering this dress is - it cinches in all of the right places, and flows out where necessary. If you're around 5'5" like me, this is the PERFECT length, long enough to feel covered, but not so long that it makes you feel short.
Linen Blend Midi Dress
I'm so in love with this dress, I got it in two colors - the white fruits/veggies, and the green stripe. It's so comfy and so adorable!
Tie Front Midi Dress
This is one of those dresses that I only got in one color, but that I keep eyeing and thinking about going back for more. The red and white check is so classic, and the white floral is very 90s. But who can turn down a denim dress? Which one will you choose?
Cami Mini Dress
This is another dress I have in multiple colors. Don't trust the pictures on the website, it's SO MUCH CUTER in person! It's one of the most flattering things I own. Plus the milkmaid style top is super nursing friendly!
Milk Maid Style Midi Dress
I'm literally wearing this dress as I make this list. I love it so much, it's so light and airy and perfect for summer. Looks super cute with a long sleeved shirt and tights underneath for winter. You can't go wrong! Plus the buttons make it great for nursing.
Button-Front Mini Dress
A maxi dress is a staple of a summer wardrobe, and the little detail they've added other the hip on this one, just gives it that extra flair we all need!
Sleeveless Ribbed Maxi Dress
Cute and Comfy Loungewear
Every mom needs a good lounge set to be comfy and cute in, so you can relax while still feeling put together. This crochet sweater paired with the matching shorts, is so perfect for staying cool and COOL this summer.
Button-Down Crochet Sweater
These crochet shorts look adorable with the matching sweater, or a cute tee or tank. The set is amazing for a swim suit cover up and hanging out poolside, on the beach, or at the summer BBQ!
Crochet Shorts
I LOVE this shirt, it's so light and flowy which helps keep you cool in the summer, but even though it's a loose fit, it's not at all boxy. It looks fabulous with the matching crinkle gauze shorts, or a cute pair of jeans. Bonus points for being nursing friendly!
Crinkle Gauze Button Down Shirt
So comfy, so flowy, so airy - these shorts are amazing for summer! And they look so good with the matching shirt, or just a tank or tee.
Crinkle Gauze High-Waisted Shorts
It sounds silly, but having pjs that aren't just old ratty clothes that have been retired from your everyday where, is a game changer. I feel so much more put together and ready to tackle the day when I wake up feeling comfortable and confident. I told you - it sounds silly! But it's true. These pjs are cotton poplin which makes them super light and airy and comfortable for those hot summer nights.
Poplin Pajama Short Set
Tops
Don't worry - the tie is just for show. But this tie front top is so adorable, and perfect for all body types. It hugs in just the right places, and flares out so you don't have anything to be self conscious about!
Peplum Tie-Front Top
Linen for summer. I repeat - linen for summer! This button-down vest is so stylish, and super easy to dress up or down, the best part? It's LINEN!
Button-Front Linen Vest
If you grew up in the 90s I feel like you just need one of these graphic t's. They're such a flashback, especially the Good Days Reading Society! (That's the one I got)
Crew-Neck Graphic T-Shirt
If you grew up in the 90s, then you know you need this flashback tank top!!! It's a great basic to have in your arsenal, plus it's got the added bonus of that 90s nostalgia
90's Ribbed Tank Top
Everyone needs a good basic tank top, and this is it. The best part is that it's 95% cotton which is SO hard to find these days, when most things are polyester.
Cotton Scoop-Neck Tank Top
This cotton crew-neck is a perfect basic, with the best fit - loose in the places you want it, but fitted enough to still make you look stylish.
Cotton Crew-Neck T-Shirt
Get this one while you still can! I did - twice, in two different colors, of course. It looks sooo good with the capri pants and mariner shorts I've also listed!
V-Neck Crepe Top
Another 90s flashback with this one - this tee is super cute and adds a little extra flair to your basic look.
Lace-Trim Ribbed Pointelle T-Shirt
Once again - if you grew up in the 90s, the tank top is probably giving you flashbacks of the best kind!
90s Cinched Floral Tank Top
For those cooler summer nights, this peplum top is the perfect choice. It's a super lightweight material but still gives you that extra arm coverage. And once again, have to point out, it's great for nursing!
Long Sleeved Peplum Top
Bottoms
A skort is a mom's best friend! You can run around on the playground, squat, bend over, whatever you need to do to keep up with your kids without worrying, but still look cute!
High-Waisted Linen Mini Skort
If you're like me, you've been WAITING for capris to come back in style. Well they're back baby! So now's your chance, get them in every wash so they'll last you until they cycle back again!
High-Waisted Slim Fit Capris
If you're like me, and you're a sucker for capris and black and white, you need these pants, end of story!
Extra High-Waisted Capri Pants
There's not a whole lot to say about these shorts other than that they're CUTE, comfy, and I got them in both washes, so you probably should too!
High-Waisted Mariner Shorts
Shoes and Sandals
Add a little vintage flair to your feet with these adorable cherry sandals. Can you imagine them with the capri pants? I can, and do, because I wear them together all the time!
Cherry Mesh Slide Sandals
Once again - imagine these vintage flats with the mariner shorts - ADORABLE. Plus they're comfy, so there's that too!
Scarlet Gingham Bow Flat Sandals
A good pair of espadrilles is such an easy way to class up a summer outfit!
Platform Espadrille Sandals
Mom-Friendly Bathing Suits
Aerie/American Eagle has been my go-to for bathing suits since high school. This suit only comes in one color which is kind of a bummer, but at least it's a gorgeous one! And it has great coverage for swimming with littles.
The Andie Maddalena Bikini Top
The ruching on this bikini bottom makes it so much more flattering than just your average high-waisted style bottom!! I absolutely love it.
The Andie Sicily Bikini Bottom
Aerie has always that girl when it comes to bathing suits, and this season is no exception. I love this top because it provides great support and coverage so you don't have to worry about popping out of your top when swimming with kids!
The Sandscoop Bikini Top
I love the cross-over top of this bikini bottom because it does a great job of hiding those spots that us as mom's can be self-conscious about when we're in bikinis. But the little extra attention to detail adds that bit of style we're always looking for!
