Soft Plays
Our Lentil loves a soft plays so we’ll be testing them all out!
We loved it here! Perfect for smaller ones as it’s a little smaller than a lot of soft plays and was quieter with less big kids running around. Plus fab selection of food from the market!
Jungle Play - Newport Market
Another smaller soft play which is lovely for littler ones. Plus go for a swim afterwards!
Soft Play at Fontygary
A huge soft play! A nice little baby area but much better for bigger kids as there is so much going on. Even bigger kids can do rock climbing as well.
Fun HQ Cardiff
Goodsheds now has Jungle Soft Play! Goodsheds is already well known for the street food options and they will deliver the food to your table in soft play!

Days Out
Anywhere within a reasonable distance of Cardiff to take babies and toddlers for a few hours.
Not huge but a great way to spend a couple hours on a rainy day. They have these boxes of items in some of the areas for infants to explore which Lentil loved!
National Museum Cardiff - Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Caerdydd
Keep an eye out for toddler days! Basically a science museum with lots of experiments to play with and learn about.
Techniquest
You can’t go wrong with a library when you’re looking for something to do with kids! We can spend an hour or so hear exploring the books, having a read together and choosing some new books to take home.

Get Outside!
We love going on dog walks with our whippet and getting outside come rain or shine. These are our favourite walks we’ve done around Cardiff!
Beautiful national trust gardens to adventure around! Fun wooden log play area for kids to climb all over too!
National Trust - Dyffryn Gardens
Lovely place for a walk! Dog friendly. Little cafe for a coffee or lunch. Play area for the kids.
