Charleston is a beautiful old city and there are so many historical things to do.
First on the list is doing a historical carriage tour around downtown. You see these all over the city and it is a great way (for a fee) to learn about the city.

Fort Sumter is one of the more well-known historical sites to see and you get to travel by boat which is a must do in Charleston
