Where to eat
I went to Iceland in October and here's what I loved
Great seafood and wine right in Downtown Reykjavik
Brút Restaurant
Way less crowded than Braud & Co but just as tasty. Definitely get the Cinnamon Bun
Brikk Brauð & Eldhús
Another great restuarant right on Rainbow Street
Kol Restaurant - English - Kol Restaurant
We got the fish and chips at Finsen and it was really good. It was a good size portion, my husband and I think we could have split it
Pósthús Food Hall & Bar
They'll put on any game from the States, my husband wanted to watch the Phillies game since they are in the playoffs and this was the only bar we could find it!
American Bar the home of fun and sports in Iceland
Rite of passage, you have to get a hot dog while in Iceland. This is a little hot dog stand right in downtown, order everything on it
Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur
The actual travel part
We loved the car we received. It was super clean and felt very luxurious. Pick-up and drop-off was super quick and easy.
Car rental in Iceland - Rent a car at KEF airport or in Reykjavik
Smooth flight, friendly staff and affordable prices
Icelandair: Flights to Europe & Iceland
The beds were comfy, the best location (right near all the hotspots and overlooked the harbor), we enjoyed the hotel bar BUT it was expensive to park and for breakfast so I recommend going to a bakery instead

Women's Cardigans & Sweaters | Old Navy
This isn't the rain jacket I have (I've had it for years) but a quality Gore-tex jacket that is good in wind and rain is definitely needed!
Women's Pathfinder GORE-TEX Shell Jacket
I wore hiking boots everywhere (except nice restaurants) but it was super helpful since we encounters a lot of puddles and mud
