Very unexpected read from me. But I absolutely loved it. Probably my favorite read from 2024. Think hunger games but instead of the capital it’s Aliens that invaded earth. Also princess donut is everything.

This is the series that got me into the sci-fi genre. I think it is definitely hunger games meets star wars in this first book. Be prepared to have your heart ripped out of your chest less than 100 pages in.
